Landing Craft Gun (Medium) Kit

This is a laser-cut perspex and resin casting kit of a Landing Craft Gun (Medium). These craft were used in a close support role for the shore landings on D-Day and in further operations off the Belgian and Dutch coasts. With a main armament of 2 turreted 17pdrs or 25pdrs, and 20mm Oerlikons these aggressively handled craft engaged enemy strongholds and gun emplacements at extremely close range to aid the infantry in their shore assaults.
