Beaverette Mk II full resin kit, also referred to as the Mosquito Car. Kit can built into either a Beaverette Mk I or MK II.
User friendly kit of this great looking vehicle, which can be easily built and with great potential to brush up on your painting skills, with it's Oak wood planked interior. Also is a great starter kit to super-detail for the budding historian/ researcher who wishes to uncover the hidden technical aspects of this important, yet little documented vehicle.
Initiated by Lord Beaverbrook, a total of 2,800 Beaverettes were constructed by upgrading Humber Super-Snipes and Standard 14hp passenger cars, with armoured plating which was faced on the inside with Oak planking, for added protection. Generally armed with a Bren LMG,(not supplied with the kit), (but can be found in several British/commenwealth infantry kits by Tamiya and Dragon. And manned with a 3 man crew.
