Light grey Resin Kit of this Unusual and interesting vehicle that was based on a Ford 4x4 rear engined chassis supplied by Canada, and built in India by The Tata iron and Steel Company and the East Indian railway workshops. It is estimated that 4,655 of these vehicles were produced. Their primary role were as Infantry heavy weapons carriers, but they were also deployed for reconnaisance and Artillery Observation. Mainly used by the British-Indian Divisons in the Middle East, they also saw service in the Italian campaign and in the Far East. A few hundred of these vehicles were also built in New Zealand, although with a few slight differences, including moving the driver to a central and lower position instead of sitting to the right. It is recorded that some of these Carriers were used by the New Zealand Army during the Korean War.
