HMS Robin River Gunboat Kit

This is a easy to build kit that makes a nice clean water-line desktop model of HMS Robin, circa 1934 at a scale of 1/192.

HMS Robin was a British River Gunboat built in 1934 by Yarrow for use on the Yangtze river.

She was based on Hong Kong and was scuttled on Christmas Day 1941, to prevent her capture by the Japanese after she was bombed.

HMS Robin was armed with a 6 pounder QF Gun, a 3.7inch Howitzer and several Lewis machine guns. As well as pre war patrol duties, she was also used as the Depot Ship for the 55ft Coastal Motor Boats of the 2nd Hong Kong Motor Torpedo Boat Flotilla.
