Beaverette Mk.III Kit

This kit is now up-graded and re-mastered with an Interior. based on further information that has come to light.

Resin kit to build the Beaverette Mk III scout car.

Easy to build kit of a most unusual vehicle, developed at the start of the war, to make up for the lack of armoured fighting vehicles after Dunkirk. A total of 2800 beaverettes of different marks were built during the war. They were used by the Home Guard, Royal Airforce and regular Army units, throughout the war. Some were even shipped to Normandy after D-day.

This Kit allows the Beaverette to be built with the bren Gun turret or Vickers twin K aircraft MGs. (Guns not included) but can be found in Tamiya and Dragon kits.

RAF units often replaced the turret with a Perspex aircraft turret.
