Conversion kit for the Tamiya Churchill. A total of 50 Churchill 3" Gun Carriage was developed and completed by 1942, as a quick solution to combat the newer heavily armoured German tanks. Mounting a 3" AA gun with specially developed rounds for ground use this Self-propelled gun packed quite a punch for it's day. Some were recorded as being sent to the Middle East conflict for test trials, but little is known of what happened after. Several were also used without the gun for experimental purposes later in the war.
